Support & Connection

an understanding that her life is about connections and she can find support and affirmation  through connections with people and community.

 

Greater Sense of Self

having faith in her ability to make changes in her life and to be more in touch with her inner power.

 

WINGS (WoMen Investigating New Goals and Solutions), funded through the Minnesota Displaced Homemakers Program (DHP), is a pre-employment program for those who lack income due to death, divorce, separation, or disability of a partner.

Through a series of workshops, one-to-one counseling and group support, participants can gain the knowledge, skills, and confidence necessary to achieve full-time employment and lead fulfilling lives.

Groups are held every Tuesday at Anna Marie's for residents and every Wednesday at Tri-CAP's downtown location for anyone interested.
