Anna Marie’s Alliance has been providing services to battered women and their children in Central Minnesota for 26 years. Concerned members of the St. Cloud community who saw the need for women to have a safe place to go while dealing with an abusive relationship formed the Central MN Task Force on Battered Women. The Central MN Task Force on Battered Women incorporated in October1978 and opened the doors to our first shelter in July 1979.
Since 1979 we have developed programs and protocols that have made a real difference in the lives of battered women in Central Minnesota. Our current 36-bed shelter, Anna Marie's, was constructed in 1999. To read about our programs click here.
